What does BV stand for in Shell International Exploration and Producing BV?

What does BV stand for in Shell International Exploration and Producing BV?
Here is my theory on the matter...

Shell is a Dutch company

I think "B.V." stands for "Besloten Vennootschap" which is Dutch for "Limited Company".
