How software design affects the quality of software design?
It's generally said that design is always worth-while. However, in most cases the product will become more or less different from what was originally planned. It's hard to say how much to plan and design, and there are different schools of though regarding this issue. Some believe in up-front design, while others jump to coding right away, solving problems as they encounter them.
