Question

my current income is min. wage. 7.50 an hour for 40 a week (1200 a month) child support order is for 400 per month and 200 for back child support. my divorce decree requires i pay another 500 plus between health insurance for my daughter and daycare costs. this leaves me trying to live on less than $100 a month after taxes come out.

i have tried calling Missouri child support but they refused to help because my income has only decreased by 48% and not the 50% they require.

i am on the verge of losing my job, and becoming homeless as i have no more savings left to live on.

clearly on less than $100 a month income i cannot afford to hire any type of legal representation.

what options do i have?

Answer

File your own motion wit the court to reduce child support and health insurance payments
