My wife was picked up for DUI and has bonded out but has not had her first hearing yet. We have a 5 day cruise paid for in 6 weeks. How can we get permission to go in such a short period of time?

This should not be a problem to avoid. If you hire an attorney your first court appearance is usually waived, so there is a reasonable chance the first time she needs to appear in court will be after the cruise. There are also ways to waive your appearance in court, but the rules on this vary from court to court.
