What is the difference between in the street and on the street?
when something is on the either side of the street, we call it as in the street. whereas if something is lying on the street,or some person is standing on the street,we term it as on the street.
example: the shop is in the street, bcz its on one either side of the road, or the book shop is the left street
i was standing on the street
