Who is Leon C Simon?
There are several Leon C. Simons. One of them was my great-grandfather. He was born and raised in New Orleans and became one of the founding members of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce. When he died, they named a street after him, Leon C. Simon Drive, which was swamped by the Hurricane Katrina floods. His youngest daughter, Leone, is still alive at the age of 92 and living in New Orleans.
