If that is the case, your Son needs to let Jefferson City know of his lien on the vehicle very soon (the seller/lender probably already has a lien on it) Based upon the facts you described, they both own the vehicle. If either sells it, they owe some money to the other. If your Son was over 18, when the car was purchased, you probably do not have any claim to the vehicle. But, perhaps they will sell it to you. Taking over the payments, will not get your Sister out form under her obligation to the seller/lender. So, she has not legal obligation to let you take control of the vehicle.

Your choices seem to buy the car, or let them (your Son and Sister) do what they're going to do. Until you or your Sister;s ex buy the vehicle, both your Sister and your Son are obligated to the seller/lender.

The extradition costs are paid for by the state bringing the person back. The states have a very limited budget for this so they tend to only do it on serious cases. The odds are that this warrant comes up every time he is in contact with law enforcement but TN has declined to get him.

You can see an attorney for defamation. The first thing to do is to tell the company in writing that their employee is defaming your husband in this way and you are going to get a lawyer if she doesn't stop. I continued gathering discovery to find that on the citation (I forgot I had already made a copy of it and left the copy in the print tray of the printer *genius here*) and my name is scribbled, and my DL number is very cleanly written but is one digit off.

Judge approved a Trial in Absentia, fined me, ordered suspension and tacked on civil fees. I goto the courts, they demand that I sign to a Trial De Novo. I did this. The judge scheduled the new trial.

Now for the date of the new trial I have to be in training for a new job. The job offer is VERY clear that I must attend all scheduled days with no exception otherwise the offer will be rescinded.

What do I do? I do not believe I can submit a Written Declaration for Trial De Novo ?? I can not afford representation, hence why I researched this whole process. If he tries to do something with the property after a divorce summons is served, he will violate the court order. It technically is forgery, once they attempt to pass the signature off as being yours. However, if you otherwise agreed to the same terms that the forged agreement says, there may be little or now civil damages to be obtained through a law suit. The forged document shoudl be brought to the attention of the County Prosecutor and the Bonding company for that auto dealer. You have short time in which to bring a civil suit for the forgery.

Your question makes no sense at all. There is the LOAN and there is the DEED (or title to the property). Why would you want to try to make yourself liable for the loan? If you are trying to ask about being an owner of the property, then your wife signs a new deed prepared by a real estate agent who knows the facts. However, since the issue is what happens after the death of one of you, the obvious solution is to see an estate planning lawyer to get a will, and handle the other necessary documents. There is no such thing as a "quickclaim" anything.

I just lost my childhood friend, David, of 50 years. He is Godfather to my two children and was a second father to them for the last 25 years. He had only one living relative, a sister, who he had a falling out with when their mother died 7 years ago but he was never close to her. When she was having a hard time (lost job, health problems, etc due to her bad life style) 15 years ago, he put her in his will as the heir to his estate and put my children as the heirs to the total estate if she predeceased him. It was in a moment of drama that she forced him into.

He meant to change it but procrastinated, not thinking he would have an untimely death. The executor of the wil,l Scott (our childhood friend),his best friend Randy, and myself and my children were told that his wishes were to eliminate his sister from the will and place my children as the heirs to his estate. David told us this many times. When Scott and Randy kept encouraging him to do so he kept putting it off because he thought it was not eminant. When he died last week, Randy called the sister and explined that David's wishes were that my daughters would recieve all of it and it would be the right thing for her to provide something for them. She flatly refused and not a reasonable person...no friends, no family, no job and a middle aged, horder.

Do I have any legal standing to challenge the will? I just want something for my children as David wanted. The estate is probably worth $700,000.

YOU have no standing. Your children would have to overcome clear law that establishes a written will as the "last word" on the wishes of the deceased. Oral statements and promises of the deceased are not enforceable, on the theory that if he really meant them, he would have taken action. The Judge isn't going to be too concerned about items of marital property other than real esate. Sometimes they won't consider furnishings at all. If your wife is going to want to demand that you produce something, she's going to have to provide a picture and a receipt of the item. Also, I would argue that anything that she left in Colorado was now your property as it is in your possession and you have been paying the storage and moving cost for the property. Judges understand that furnishings and incidents get "turned over" during the course of a lifetime and isn't going to be intereted in a dispute over silverware. What is reactive power?
Reactive power is an odd topic in AC (Alternating Current) powersystems, and it's usually explained with vector mathematics orphase-shift sinewave graphs. However, a non-math verbal explanationis possible.

Note that Reactive power only becomes important when an "electricalload" or a home appliance contains coils or capacitors. If theelectrical load behaves purely as a resistor, (such as a heater orincandescent bulb for example,) then the device consumes "realpower" only. Reactive power and "power factor" can be ignored, andit can be analysed using an AC version of Ohm's law.

Reactive power is simply this: when a coil or capacitor isconnected to an AC power supply, the coil or capacitor storeselectrical energy during one-fourth of an AC cycle. But then duringthe next quarter-cycle, the coil or capacitor dumps all the storedenergy back into the distant AC power supply. Ideal coils andcapacitors consume no electrical energy, yet they create asignificant electric current. This is very different from aresistor which genuinely consumes electrical energy, and where theelectrical energy flows continously in one direction; moving fromsource to load.

In other words, if your electrical appliance contains inductance orcapacitance, then electrical energy will periodically return to thepower plant, and it will flow back and forth across the powerlines. This leads to an extra current in the power lines, a currentwhich heats the power lines, but which isn't used to provide energyto the appliance. The coil or capacitor causes electrical energy tobegin "sloshing" back and forth between the appliance and thedistant AC generator. Electric companies must install heavier wiresto tolerate the excess current, and they will charge extra for this"unused" energy.

This undesired "energy sloshing" effect can be eliminated. If anelectrical load contains both a coil and capacitor, and if theirresonant frequency is adjusted to exactly 60Hz, then the coil andcapacitor like magic will begin to behave like a pure resistor. The"energy sloshing" still occurs, but now it's all happening betweenthe coil and capacitor, and not in the AC power lines. So, if yourappliance contains a large coil induction motor, you can make themotor behave as a pure resistor, and reduce the current in thepower lines by connecting the right value of capacitance across themotor coil.

Why is reactive power so confusing? Well, the math is daunting ifnot entirely obscure. And the concept of "imaginary power" putsmany people off. But this is not the only problem. Unfortunatelymost of us are taught in grade school that an electric current is aflow of energy, and that energy flows back and forth in AC powerlines. This is completely wrong. In fact the energy flowsconstantly forward, going from source to load. It's only thecharges of the metal wires which flow back and forth.

Imagine that we connect a battery to a light bulb. Electric chargesalready present inside the wires will begin to flow in the circle,and then electrical energy moves almost instantly to the lightbulb. The charge flow is circular like a belt, but the energy flowis one-way. Now imagine that we suddenly reverse the connections tothe battery. The voltage and current will reverse... but the energystill flows in the same direction as before. It still goes frombattery to bulb. If we keep reversing the battery connections overand over, we'd have an AC system. So, in an AC system, only thevoltage and current are "alternating," while the electrical energyflows one-way, going from source to load. Where AC resistive loadsare concerned, electrical energy does not "alternate." Tounderstand energy flow in AC systems, it's critically importantthat we understand the difference between charge flow (current,amperes) and energy flow (power, watts.)

What is imaginary power? Simple: it's the unused power which flowsbackwards and forwards in the power lines, going back and forthbetween the load's coil or capacitor and the distant AC generator.If your appliance was a pure capacitor or inductor, then it wouldconsume no electrical energy at all, but instead allthe flowing energy would take the form of "sloshing energy," andwe'd call it "imaginary power." Of course it's not actuallyimaginary. Instead it's reflected by the load.


What is real power? Even more simple: it's the energy flow whichgoes continuously from the AC generator and into the appliance,without any of it returning back to the distant generator.

Finally, what is "apparent" power? It's just the combination of theabove two ideas: it is the continous-forward-moving or "real"energy flow, combined with the sloshing or "imaginary" energy flow.
