Disadvantages of a sole proprietorship?
Some of the disadvantages of a sole proprietorship include:
1. Taxation: the profit (assuming the company is making a profit) is considered income to the individual and taxed at the individual's tax rate.
2. Liability: the individual has personal liability for the business. This can be mitigated, somewhat, by insurance coverage but your personal assets may be at risk.
