Is a diner and a restaurant the sane thing?
no those are 2 different places a diner is a kinda sloppy place where food is served and a restaurant is a clean reserved place and has many employees that clean up right after a person[s]has immediately left
Same thing, with different connotations. Diner implies low-priced food, a step up from fast-food places. Restaurant (which may refer to any eatery) tends to imply a more expensive, fancier place to get cooked food.
