Is it legal for a non-profit organization to ask for money from people?
Its normally referred to a s "NOT for Profit" Organisation. These are usually Charitable organisations. therefore, if they are seeking money they do so under the terms of charitable donation. Depending on where you are in the world will depend on the legal boundaries that such an organisation can work
