Question

I rent a booth in a salon. she fired me. she changed locks on door and packed up all my supplies and eqipment? she did all this in 1 day. is she aloud to touch my stuff legally.?its been 2 days since she fired me and wants me to pick everything up at her convenience. what if things are missing or damaged? I paid her rent. so she is my landlord. what rights do I have

Answer

There's no way to answer you as you left out the only information that matters. What does your written lease say? All your rights are in there.

Answer

Booth rental in a salon is not the same as the rental of a home or separate space. If you are reading about 30 or 60 days notice from a landlord, no, the salon is not required to allow you to stay in their business. Read your contract.
