What websites do nurses and other medical professionals use to obtain information on medical products?
Usually doctors monitor developments in the drugs and treatments they commonly use through subscription services, journal publications, yearly reviews, conferences, CME activities, and large pharmacopoeias such as the aptly named British Pharmacopoeia.
For light reading, there is the Merck Manual: http://www.merck.com/mmpe/index.html
eMedicine is sometimes useful.
If you're looking for medical technology or anything "new," the companies that produce it are the first (but unreliable) source. You can check out the companies' websites, eg. Ethicon from Johnson & Johnson, or try the "Physician's Desk Reference" which will list most new drug developments (it is not a reliable source of further information on said drugs though).
