What is product sourcing?
Product sourcing refers to finding/buying products either from domestic/international markets.
There are several ways whereby one can conduct product sourcing for instance via:
- B2B Portals: An online portal where buyers can find useful buying leads and access to a wide range of products & suppliers.
- Trade shows: One stop approach whereby buyers can meet suppliers face-to-face.
- Trade publications: Buyers can preview latest products as well as a wide range of suppliers.
- Search Engines: A conventional method of searching for products by typing product name/type in the search engine. However, some buyers are skeptical about this method as they can't be too sure about the reliability of the supplier.
