My ex is holding up our divorce claiming I owe him $600 because he hired someone to fix my back deck. I recently learned the person he hired was not a contractor and did not fix the deck to code. It is going to cost me way more than $600 to fix. Can I ask for reimbursement in my divorce since he hired the guy to do the work? Or will the judge make me file suit in civil court against the man he hired? Am I even liable for the $600 in the first place?

You need to see a lawyer and retain one. You're in a contested divorce. You are no more likely to see a divorce without a lawyer go well that you would have surgery without a doctyor go well.
