can a felon own a pellet gun in the state of Virginia?
Answer
The answer would appear to be that since pellet guns are not claassified as firearms under Virginia law but referred to as ''pneumatic" guns per Va. Code Sec. 15.2-915.4 that ownerhip or possession of such devices would not be
prohibited to convicted felons.
Federal law apparently also imposes no restrictions on the ownership
or possession of such pneumatic or non-powder guns by felons, as far
as I have been able to discover.
