What influences organizational culture?

What influences organizational culture?
This depends on a lot of factor starting form entrepreneur ideas (in small org) till org policy in big firm.

When you study HR you study that how HR personnel are suppose to see that people chosen should people that fit in org this conclude that not only there is a culture but also particular characteristic are to also searched to emphases and refine the culture.

OK take some example:

Google: believes in youth and innovation and encourages its employees to think innovative, take initiative. This is the reason why Google comes up with the most innovative stuff round the year.

Toyota: the founder of TQM concept in its modern from believes that people should be energetic and interest in improving there work quality. this there reason for better practical engineering and refined quality.

In above cases we saw enterprise where labor intensive work (trust me working with computer is nothing less than labor) is done and people are suppose to have close contact a much bureaucratic and team oriented approach is followed where team is responsible.

on the opposite end in service sector where only intellectual work is done on individual basis you would observe rather loose personal freedom oriented approach where a person is solely responsible for there doing.(there are teams but performance is sole factor)

If we take clear factors, they are:
Size of orgcommon thinking of people within orgsectoral influenceneed of time factorculture prevailing with the region of operationapproach of management
the policies help shape a large part of culture within org. this factor can be held responsible for two organizations operating in area in same sector to have different cultures. In fact imagine to McDonald shop have diverse in house culture.

This is part and parcel of management to understand and adopt to culture and alter as per need arise
