How do you not get nervous when doing a presentation?
One view:Dont Worry. Just Take A Deep Breath And Relax and than you will not be nervous anymore.
Another view:The first suggestion is to be prepared, (practice, practice, practice). If you're speaking to a room full of people, relax (breathe slowly and deeply) and try not to speak to swiftly. Make notes of your material and use them. Visit the location of your presentation early so you'll be familiar with it.
If it is before a group of acquaintances, pick out familiar faces in different parts of the room and talk to each one individually for short periods of time.
If you have to use charts and/or diagrams, try to look a different person after you show each one, to see if they're getting the information you're giving.
Many people are so frightened of speaking in public, but it can be done and done well. If you give it your 'all', it will be a good presentation.
