purchased a farm that has a gated right off way, written into deed, the land owner let met take the gate down and move it back and reroute the right of way about 14 years ago. Now the owner has sold the property can the ROW stay ungated or can the new owner of the property force me to go through a gate

If the deed now reflects this amended right of way, no, but if not, perhaps (my opinion).
