What are some pros of welfare?
Welfare is good as a temporary relief and is not meant and shouldn't be a lifelong "career." It is good that it will provide for basic necessities so people ar enot starving or on the streets. If it wasn't for welfare I would have been on the streets with my son or would have dropped out of college or both. The father turned abusive after 4 years of being together and as a college student, I had no other rationale choice. If I would have worked I still wouldn't have made enough money to survive and I would have had to wuit school. If I stayed in school to pay my own way in the future, then I would have to get welfare.
