In probate, why would you transfer property and a business contract of 5 million, instead of selling it out right, is the PR hiding something?

Answer

It may not be easily saleable. Nothing unusual about transferring it if that is the case. Also, sometimes it is easier to transfer to the heirs in order to close out the Estate.

Transferring is acceptable and PR has to do a full accounting with current market values.
