You are talking some major legal action against your parents if in fact the account was a gift to you and they had no power over it except as custodians (many minors' accounts are "custodial"). You could seek court protection as an emancipated minor and for an accounting for the money. If I were the judge, however, and you tell me you were abused and neglected by your parents but they set aside a tidy sum for you, it might tell me they're not as bad as you make out so I'd watch the accusations - a lot of young folks think their parents "suck" when many are just stricter than others -- I'm not saying that is the case but just to be careful how you portray them. I recommend you get an attorney to help you with whatever you'd like to do.

Generally speaking, what you had mentioned is NOT proper. In fact, when a company hires H1 visa holders, it has to certify to the Department of Labor that it could not find qualified Americans to do the job. Submitting untrue statements to the Federal government is a serious matter.

Within a contract they must provide pay details, annual leave (Both paid -holiday pay- and unpaid - When there is a need to leave the organisation for some time), other types of pay like sick pay (Including maternity and paternity, overtime etc), they also need to provide the hours you are contracted to complete/work. This amount of hours can be in a month, week and even day. The contract should also mention what days the new employee is needed to work.
If you sign this contract then it becomes a legal agreement between you and the organisation. If any of the conditions in the contract are broken or not followed then it is possible to take legal action.

Obviously Mr. Stone didn't read your question carefully at all. The correct answer to your question is, "maybe, but probably not." First, you must have taken all reasonable steps to prevent him sending you the messages after the first one. Unless you blocked his email address and marked messages from him as spam, and took all other steps available to you with both your email service company and his, you don't have a case. Then, even if you did that and he illegally circumvented the blockade, you must have suffered actual damages from his conduct that can support an award of money damages.
The only other possibility is that his messages rose to the level of criminal conduct. You'll have to check with the police about that.

If this is still happening, you probably have a good case for a restraining order. Such an order would not compensate you for what has already happened, but it should prevent the other man from doing more of it.
You also have the option of suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress, and perhaps for some other causes of action. I don't know if such a case would make sense economically, but that will depend upon the facts.
You should discuss your situation with a lawyer right away.

I was involved in a car accident about two months ago. The accident was not my fault. I suffered whiplash and some surface bleeding on my knees and arms ( I believe those were only minor scratches). I was able to walk away from the accident.(my car was a total loss)
I promptly contacted my insurer and I was told by my adjuster at my insurance company that they set aside a dollar amount for my medical treatments ( I believe it is the $10,000 maximum ) I also got contacted by the insurance company of the person who crashed into my car, they wanted to discuss settlement, but I told them I have to wait for the results of my diagnosis from the urgent care and from the chiropractor before I could discuss anything with them.
I went to an urgent care the day after the accident. Now I'm going to chiropractic treatment for my neck / back / spine. (I thought my neck and back was going to feel better with time, they never did, they actually felt worse as time passed.)
My question is about maximizing my settlement amount:
1. Does the chiropractic treatment cost come out of my settlement check? In other words, if my insurer set $10,000 aside for my case, the more I use the chiropractor the less amount I have left for my actual settlement check?
2. If the chiropractic treatment cost does come out of my settlement amount, should I stop the treatment (I'm feeling better at the moment, although not 100% healthy, I would not pay for the treatment any longer if it comes out of my pocket)
3. Do I expect a settlement from my insurer AND the person at fault's insurer OR I will only settle with the insurer of the person at fault?

1. Not sure what the set aside is that you mean. If you had PIP or no fault it will pay for 80% of the reasonable medical expenses you incurred including the urgent care. The chiropractor will be paid until the 10K is used up. Be careful as this occurs relatively quickly.
2. Settlements only occur if you have a permanent injury within a reasonable degree of medical probability. Sounds like you have some soft tissue injury for which you will receive a minimal permanent injury rating. Your case will be worth a relatively small amount of money. The 20% of the bills unpaid after PIP and anything over the 10K are your responsibility.
3.There are out of pocket payments Unless you had med pay coverage as well.
4. Your insurer should pay the PIP. If you had UM coverage that would pay if the underlying coverage is insufficient to cover your permanent damages.
5. Hire an attorney familiar with these types of cases, they will handle on a contingency basis and will only be paid if there is a resolution.

This is a decision between you and your doctor. At some point, you will reach what is known as maximum medical improvement (MMI), where you may not feel 100% better, but more therapy would not benefit you either. At this point the doctor will assign you a permanent-impairment rating. A good personal-injury lawyer will negotiate down any medical bills you owe.

It depends. If the amount of your damages exceeds the amount of coverage available from the at-fault party, and you are able to get the at-fault insurance carrier to tender their policy limits, then you can look to your own insurance company - assuming you have un/under insured motorists coverage.

We just discovered while trying to finalize the will that the last time my grandmother was in Florida (she was 85) my cousin had her set up rights of survivorship on her Florida house and the business physical property. The end result is that after my father who was supposed to have the house now has no say with it since my cousin will get it after him. We also know that grandma never would have agreed to all the property going to my cousin if she realized what she was signing. Where it gets interesting is that the Lawyer did not witness the signing, my cousin's wife was the person who notarized the document, and the 2 witnesses were employees of my cousin (and it is very doubtful that they actually witnessed and were just told to sign later). Is there anything that can be done to void this? It would have taken place around 2005. My Father feels betrayed and is not in very good health.

Since the fall of the Enron corporation (known for blatant ethical violations of running the Fortune 500 company into the ground), we have heard a lot about ethical conduct.
Ethics are now being discussed more in college and even grammer school of doing the right thing and acting accordingly. More people today take ethics as a personal affair because of past presidences and the results of what happens if you do act unethical.
If you do act unethical, it is more of the judge character. Reviewing the corporate structure today, I think more people look upon it as a personal affair and it does not enter public debate until something unethical happens. =)

I have a few friends who are small business owners (100 employees) and I've had good luck turning their Excel spreadsheets and the like into actual applications. It works great for them and is rewarding for me. You guys might laugh, but you'd be surprised the money and personnel time it saves them. The work isn't complex, per se, but I really love it.
Why do I love the work?I work directly with the person who pays me and who gets to see the results.I'm working in whatever framework/platform I fancy, so I can stay abreast on new technologies.I get to pick and chose what projects I want to work on.
This is great, but I'm getting to the point where I need to get extra income and I'm finding it really hard to branch out and get more clients. Mostly, small businesses seem to really leery of something they don't understand.
Any idea how to penetrate this market? Is this something, someone is doing right now? Are there certain industries where this is more amendable than others? This is really my dream, so any advice is appreciated.

I currently do not make twice the minimum wage, and certainly won't with the increases that are coming soon. It depends on what you are doing. A deed is simple to prepare. As is often the case, the devil is in the details. You need the prior deeds and perhaps a title review to assure the starting point. If you have a prior title policy, that is most helpful. There are recording fees depending on the county. There may be documentary transfer tax fees unless you have an exemption. These fees are based on the sales price or value of the property. Your deed may also violate a "due on sale or transfer clause" in the mortgage. Having the loan called would be an unplesant surprise. You may want or need a title policy to assure the recipient has clear title to the property. You need to assure these are no hidden issues (like a community interest in property titled in only one spouses name). Note that if you are transferring title fromn a deceased person, you may need a probate court order to transfer title.
Thsi is only a sampling of the issues. There are many more. While your question is simple, getting this done right is not. Screwing up title can be extremely expensive to fix,and may require a quiet title action. Talk wit counsel or a title officer to be sure you get this right.

Just to correct your understanding of how title terminology and procedures work, though, you should be aware that asking to "change a deed" is an extremely expensive proposition. Deeds are not usually changed and they require a court order after a trial to "reform" the deed. A deed is a record of a transaction transferring ownership of real property. You don't usually go back and change it after the fact, especially if there have been any loans or other transactions recorded after it, because that would create a huge mess.
What you most likely really are asking about is changing record ownership, known as "title" for short, not an old deed. Doing that is very simple. You just record a new deed transferring title from whomever holds title now to whomever they want to transfer title to.
As simple as that sounds, however, Mr. Christian is correct that screwing up the wording of the transfer, or making a transfer that affects existing loans or that has serious tax consequences (which pretty much ALL transfers of real property do) can be a VERY expensive event. So unless you are doing a simple standard purchase/sale of the property with knowledgeable real estate agents and title officers involved, you need to consult with a lawyer before you do any kind of title change.

That is not how it has ever worked. Due process has always been required and it always requires notice and opportunity for a hearing.
A lot of times what happens is that an uninvolved ex gets defaulted after proper service of process, but he does need to be served or any judgment (wrongfully obtained) will be subject to being reopened later.

That depends. Was the person who sprayed you working for the club? If not, winning a judgment against the club would probably be difficult. It normally wouldn't be responsible for the conduct of patrons (or non-patrons) outside. But I can imagine circumstances where it would be.
Even if the person who sprayed you did work for the club, you might not have much of a case. You notably have not said *why* you were sprayed, and you haven't denied that it was appropriate. If the spraying was justified, the club can't be liable for it. It's not clear to me whether it had a duty to help you deal with the spray afterwards. It's also not clear whether you would have suffered fewer injuries as a result.
Regardless of who sprayed you, your case will also be weaker if you instigated the fight, or even if you escalated it. You haven't told us whether the "brawl ensued" because of something you did, but that's an important detail.

I would seek and obtain your own renter's insurance policy now, and for future incidents.

I had to call an ambulance and they took him to the hospital and took xrays 15x and never said that there was something that was not put in correctly. He had the operation at the same hospital where he had gone to the er room. We moved to florida and he fell down here and was taken to a hospital. The orthopedic doctor in florida showed us the xray of his hip that he took and said that (pointing to the area) something was not positioned where it should be. I asked him if that happened because he fell 15x and he said no, it was put in that way. Now, I am concerned that the doctors in NY did not say anything, because the doctor who did the original replacement was affiliated with the same hospital. We have gone through alot of money paying off doctor and hospital bills in that time. It also caused alot of stress on our part. Since this second hip correction operation in florida, he has been fine. Do we have any kind of case with the doctor and hospital in NY? I know there is a time frame but, we just found this out.

Some complex issues here. Ordinarily, a 2 and one half years statute of limitations governs medical malpractice cases. The 2 and 1/2 years starts to run on the last day of continuous treatment. However, if a foreign object mistakenly left inside a body during surgery is discovered after the passage of two 2 and 1/2 years, a one-year statute, starting from the date of discovery, applies. This special rule has been used in cases where gauze pads and other items were inadvertenly left in a body cavity, and discovered years after the surgery.
Not sure whether the "something" you refer to would be considered a "foreign body" or a piece of hardware necessary to the procedure. If you are truly interested in pursuing the claim, the first step is to gather ALL the medical and hospital records. They will have to be reviewed by an orthopedic surgeon, on the lookout for evidence of malpractice. The orthopedist will charge for his time to review the materials, and render an opinion, positive or negative. In Ohio, if you want to be absolutely safe, you should file something with the court ordering the visitation to alter the scheduled visitation until the doctor says the child is capable of visiting. NO, this is an issue that can be brought up at trial to show the witness was biased or the police acted inappropriately. You need to find a lawyer who will put this to a jury.
